about me

I don't like writing about myself and most of the blogs will not be about me but about some of the stranger things that goes on in my mind. As an introduction to me I am posting an extract from my 3 year interview at work:

1. I am from: Bloemfontein in the Free State
2. I have been in Cape Town since: Jan 2007
3. If I could have dinner with anyone, alive or dead, it would be: Someone who is a great cook :)
4. When I’m at home I like to wear: whatever I feel comfy in, mostly just boxer and t-shirt
5. The view from my balcony is: a partially blocked view of the city center, harbour and Robben island, and Blouberg on a clear day
6. My favourite food is: not that picky about food, but will have to go with Italian food
7. If I could drive any car it would be: One that runs on non distilled water, and still performs like a fossil fuel car.
8. My favourite holiday destination is: my bed
9. The last time I (really) went on holiday was: before I started working
10. I get annoyed when people: ask stupid questions the WHOLE TIME. Or do stupid stuff. With stupid defined as something that you know better or would know better if you spend more than 2 seconds thinking about it
11. The words I live by are:
(a) “What you making me for lunch?”
(b) "Morning Marketing”
(c) “What you making me for dinner”
(d) “mumble mumble mumble mumble”
(e) “after women get married they let themselves go”
(f) “Why didn’t anyone bring me cookies?”
(g) all of the above, and you forgot about breakfast, the most important meal of the day
12. My friends make fun of me for: Being slow, curious or weird or a combination of the 3
13. In five years I want to be: Not single any more, I would at least like to have had a girlfriend by then. Just one, is that to much to ask?
